What are green coffee beans?
They’re exactly what the name suggests, unroasted coffee beans in their natural color, which is green. It is useful for both weight loss and high blood pressure among other things. People with hypertension who regularly take a specific dose of green coffee bean extract have said to benefit tremendously. It is also said to have a good effect on those who want to lose weight as well.
One has to remember that green coffee is caffeine after all, and so, will yield the same results as normal caffeine would. A large dose of caffeine can cause a whole range of symptoms, as such as anxiety, headache, agitation, irregular heartbeats, and ringing in the ears. Also, a high dosage of Chlorogenic Acids may cause heart disease type symptoms, increased levels of homocysteine, for example. Other symptoms include bleeding disorder, glaucoma, diarrhea, high cholesterol levels, osteoporosis, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Although green coffee beans are good for diabetes, it is said that the caffeine may alter the sugar processes within a diabetes patient’s body. It can both increase and decrease the sugar levels, and so, it is advised to use caffeine with caution if you have diabetes.
Amount of doses
It is to be taken by mouth and it is suggested that for high blood pressure, 93 mg or 185 mg of specific coffee extracts as such as Naturex or Svetol is recommended. For weight loss, 80 to 200 mg is recommended of Naturex or Svetol.
